Get ready for the True anniversary collection “Far From the Finest” that releases this weekend. This will mark their 13th year, and for this occasion, they are coming out with a summer collection of tees and lightweight outerwear. It is especially designed for San Francisco weather- foggy, cold or sunny and still cold. The items that will be released include tees, fleece, a jacket, a cap and shoes. The Premium collection of Converse launches for the Fall of 2009. Various styles and designs are intertwined within the collaboration of Converse and Woolrich. The other styled Converse includes, the first Converse RED Jack Purcell shoes, a version of Converse by John Varvatos Taylor All Star Bosey boots and lastly, the debut of the All Star Outside rubber boots. On Tuesday, jeffstaple and Airwalk unveiled their Payless collection with a party at the Openhouse Gallery in NYC. This collaboration has sparked a lot of conversation so you know we had to check it out in person. We do lots with Staple so we went out to support the Positive Social Contagion. Adidas ‘Fanatic’ soccer tournament kicked off at Chelsea Waterside Park in NYC last Saturday. Twenty-four teams showed up for the intense competition. Aside from the players, the past few years has brought together a mix of artists, magazines, photographers, DJs, and record producers, establishing a new kind of soccer community. The FANATIC trophy went to dGi Dillingers as well as the grand prize. Bowery United came in as runner-up and PSYSOP won best team spirit. Special prizes included gift cards, top of the line boots for the winning team and bragging rights until next year’s tournament in 2010.
