Palladium Boots presents The Ruins of New York
Palladium Boots, maker of the iconic Pampa boot, have re-launched the brand for the Autumn/Winter 2009 season. The brand has debuted its new collection and image campaign featuring photography by Peter Sutherland. Along with this new product, Palladium released Exploration #1, a short form documentary series titled Uneven Terrain – The Ruins of New York. The doc features Brooklyn-based designer, Shawn Joswick, who takes viewers on an exploration of empty structures that have looked out on New York for decades. The Ruins of New York, along with three other explorations will be available to view online throughout the rest of the Autumn/Winter 2009 season. Check the video and image after the jump.
Grenade x Oakley Frogskins
Beginning today, August 24th, the Grenade x Oakley frogskins will be available exclusively to Grenade Army members, here. Each of the 150 pairs are individually numbered and will be shipped with gifts including a 1980s inspired poster featuring Danny Kass. They retail for $120 and are the first of many special promotions and events from Grenade leading up to the 2010 Olympics.

Last night, 10 Deep and LTD along with Karmaloop, Belvedere, Pabst Blue Ribbon and Sprite Green came together to rock the Donnis: Diary of an ATL Brave mixtape release party. Hundreds came out to see what the buzz is all about and by 930 it was the hottest party in NY, literally! The crowd stayed to brave the extremely hot conditions in the venue to check the live performance, so we thank you all for that. Check the video and pics after the jump.

Wish You Were Here Pop-Up Shop open from August 20th to September 13th, a celebrated slice of London will descend on New York’s Lower East Side, followed in October by a reciprocal visit to the Newburgh Quarter featuring the Big Apple’s best. This is a unique exchange of 30 independent boutiques reflecting signature trends in the form of fashion, accessories and lifestyle products set within exciting ‘pop-up’ environments. All designers taking part in this project will be completely new to each city bringing an element of welcome surprise and emphasizing each neighborhood’s design diversity. The Newburgh Quarter and Lower East Side are both renowned for their unique flavor within a metropolitan environment– both home to a mix of the established and the emerging.
