LTD Presents: Conversations feat. Just Blaze (Episode 1, part 1)
For the premiere episode of LTD Presents: Conversations, we sat down with Just Blaze to discuss the history and closing of the legendary Baseline Recording studios. We talked personal stories, favorite songs recorded, beat downs and more. We ended up having more than we anticipated so we broke the video up and will be dropping another part very soon.

I’ve always wanted to do exposes in this format. It allows the subject (albeit it’s already-chilled Just Blaze in this case) to live/breath and be organic, instead of makin it “press time”/”INTERVIEW”…It’s less intimidating and confrontational, and I believe reveals (even moreso than a traditional Q&A “INTERVIEW”) far more of the HUMAN subject and their various complexities!!!

Wow…pretty sad to see this place close. Just Blaze is my favorite hip hop producer, countless hits came out of there…..the man redefined a sound in the first half of this decade. Give his props….I’d like to know what it has to close? I remeber JB bought it to save it….man. That place is a hip hop shrine.
