The Mitchell family has been serving up their incredible ice cream for over 50 years in the Noe Valley district of San Francisco. They have all of your traditional flavors and seasonal specialties (peppermint candy for xmas) but the most popular are the tropical Filipino flavors. Our favorite is macapuno (sweet coconut), other popular flavors are ube (purple yam), guava, and langka (jackfruit). Make sure you’re not in a rush when you visit as there is usually a line (you have to take a number for service) but don’t worry it’s worth the wait. After all it is “super premium gourmet” ice cream.
