Volkswagen just announced the redeveloped Touareg, the most technically innovative “VW” since the brand has been in existence. The Touareg will be the first and only off-roader in Europe by a German car maker to be available in a hybrid version too. The 2011 models will be offered in a Hybrid, which can be driven up to 50 km/h (31MPH) in purely electric mode - emissions-free, and diesel engine like the Touareg V6 TDI with 7.4L combined fuel consumption now posts the best value in the segment of genuine SUVs.
The new 2011 Toureag will be available this year, no price released as of yet.
Mixing in the old with the new, The Hundreds has dropped their Spring 2010′ collection that features some of their original designs intertwined with new ones. The “Johnson-Mid”, and “Johnson-Low”, are the “core” shoes, which are now infiltrated in the ‘10 collection in various color ways and styles. The Canon EOS Rebel T2i Digital SLR camera is scheduled to be delivered to U.S. dealers in early March, and will be sold in a body-only configuration at an estimated retail price of $799.99. It will also be offered in a kit version with Canon’s EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens at an estimated retail price of $899.99.
Nissan North America today confirmed that an all-new small crossover SUV, the Nissan Juke, will join the Nissan lineup in the United States for fall 2010. The European version (pictured) of the dramatically styled Juke will make its global public premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The North American version of Juke is scheduled to debut at the New York Auto Show in late March.
The compact Juke, which was inspired by the Nissan Qazana concept car, was designed and developed to give customers a sporty crossover alternative to traditional small hatchback vehicles. In North America, Juke will join a strong tradition of Nissan crossovers — including the popular Nissan Murano and Rogue — in providing both dynamic style and an exhilarating driving experience.
The new Juke is highlighted by a highly distinctive design, which includes a robust stance, high waistline, complex curves, coupe-like profile and aggressive wheels and tires. The bold interior design features a wide center console that takes its inspiration from a motorcycle fuel tank.
