Bridging the gap between class and scandal Leah McSweeny head boss from MOB and her younger sister Sarah McSweeney turned it up in NYC’s luxurious Gramercy Hotel. The collection ranges from MTTM’s infamous street cred tees, to mini dresses and everything else guys like to see on a girls body. DC Life is celebrating the 7th season of their popular model, the Admiral, in their Spring 2010 Collection. The shoe, which was inspired by colors of a Western Americana road trip, features a custom “Indigenous Modern” pattern on the sublimated satin lining interior and is available in four colorways. The sneakers also features Full Grain illusion leather construction, DC custom Allen Key Head eyelets, EVA insert cup soles, and Sticky Rubber outsoles.
Pierre-Andre Senizergues, the founder of etnies, is back at it again with the latest PAS Collection entitled the Sixth Element. This new collection, which was designed by Pierre-Andre, celebrates the constantly evolving and growing family of skateboarders worldwide. The collection symbolizes the passing of the torch between legendary skaters, who are now fathers of their own, to their children who will grow up to become the future of skateboarding. To expand on this concept, 3 adult styles will be launched along with 3 complimentary toddler styles. Each style represents a stage of Pierre-Andre’s life.
The first model is called the Revolution. The Revolution combines both French and American heritage, and celebrates the skate revolution that gave birth to a whole new generation of youth. The second style is dubbed the Reflection and it represents the new generation going through the same life-changing experiences that Pierre-Andre went through. Continuing to be proud to be a Problem in 2010, the 10.Deep Spring collection is hitting stores this week and they wanted to give you a teaser from their lookbook shoot. Originally intended for the bunkers of a top-secret, down low NYC public park, the forces of nature thwarted the crew (three times!) into taking things indoors, where they proceeded to let the flags fly.
The new Hellz Bellz Spring 10 collection features an obscure view of modern fashion and the obsession that it becomes. The new lookbook shows off their new and daring direction. Crossing boundaries with, in their own words, “well thought-out design and carefully crafted details as well as demonstrating that fashion may be work to some and it may be a hobby for others, but for popular culture it will forever be an obsession.” The collection was photographed by Brooke Nipar and modeled by Xian, check it out below.
International skate shop Kingdom in Tilburg, Netherlands presented a solo exhibition by Dutch artist Zenk One that began on March 5th and will run until April 2nd . The exhibition consists of 24 painted portraits of iconic artists like Frank Zappa, RUN DMC, Kiss, Harold Hunter, RZA and more, who have influenced our lives and our culture. In connection with the exhibition Zenk One x Kingdom x In4mation have released a limited edition t-shirt that features Zenk One’s portrait of legendary rapper Slick Rick.
