Converse announced the sak for Converse collection is now in stores. Truly works of art, these crafted masterpieces are produced in collaboration as a part of the Converse First String program, the brand’s most premium tier and only 64 pairs in each style will be available worldwide.

The shoes feature beautiful, supple leathers –all hand-stitched from upper and rand to insole. Hiruma gives each shoe leather soles that echo finely made dress shoes, yet with ink printed logos and trademark detail that give them a playful, comfortable feeling. Each shoe comes in natural shades of tan, off-white and black leather with hand cut logos and detailing for the shoes uppers. The attention to detail includes elegant hand-stitched leather rands and toe bumpers and charming touches such as a hand-cut star cut out gracing the ends of each shoe’s leather laces.

The sak for Converse collection includes the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star shoe available in black or off-white high-top versions (pictured); the Jack Purcell in an off-white oxford version and the One Star 1974 in a black oxford version available for Fall. A Star Tech high top shoe will be available later in the year. The Chuck Taylor All Star are now available at select global retailers. Shoes will retail for $600 - $700 and will be available in men’s sizing 7 – 11 and are sold at two U.S. locations: Concepts and Opening Ceremony
