etnies Plus and Ed Banger Records collide to form their debut collaboration collection called EDNIES. Hailing from their skateboard roots in Paris, Pierre-Andre Senizergues, owner of etnies, and Pedro Winter, owner of Ed Banger, unite on what drives their passion in life: music and skateboarding. Featuring artwork created by graphics mastermind So Me, the Busy P and So Me characters can be found on opposing sides of the right and left shoe footbeds sharing a private joke. Nobody besides them happens to know what the joke, but who cares, the collab is dope, and that’s all that matters. Peep the video and flicks showcasing the kicks of the Ednies.

Last Thursday, the homie Mel D. Cole threw a release party in collaboration with yours truly here at LTD. The party was in celebration of the Village Slum x Etnies sneaker and t-shirt collabo Mel did and was also the launch of the new LTD Live. The whole night was poppin’ it was nothing but love for your boy. To put it perfectly, the words of Mel himself describe it best, “Open bar, a dope DJ, great performers, a great hot…sweaty space. I mean yo, everything was RIGHT!”
Fans, friends, and family showed up to party, with a line that lined down the block. Even some of Philly’s finest came out, Freeway, Black Thought and The Money Making Jam band came through. Major shoutouts and thanks to the folks at Belvedere, PBR, and Red Bull for supplying the drinks. Good looks to KeapHope for putting together stickers to further commemorate the release. And to those that captured the good times. Tone, EMA Photography, and again Mel D. Cole himself for snapping dope shots. Congrats to him again for the release.
The party was off the chain, check the pictures after the jump to see how it went down.
