Maysles Cinema & Bobbito Garcia have teamed up to present a showcase of films on basketball, specifically played at playgrounds, dubbed  “Jock Docs: Playground Basketball” that’s part of the For the Jocks Film Series.  Various films will be screened from Wednesday, October 27th, starting at 7:30 each night, through Saturday October 30th.  The film topics range from international tournaments to the influence of the Nike Air Force One sneakers. There will be discussions with Bobbito and others involved with the film and New York City basketball following the films as well. Come support!
