The high-end fashion and lifestyle trade show, Capsule, visited Chelsea, New York City, this week to show-off their participant’s future lines of apparel, accessories, and technology. Check out our video that highlights some of the vendors that were in attendance during the two-day event.

Frank The Butcher & Statik Selektah have joined forces on “Concepts: Selektions“. This mixtape is inspired by seminal classic 90’s mixtapes like DJ Doo Wop’s “Live 95″ & Tony Touch’s “50 MCs”. Frank The Butcher worked with Statik on “selecting” some of his most classic beats and revisiting them with new emcees and new lyrics. The tape features veterans like DJ Doo Wop, Dj Clark Kent, Freeway, and Consequence– underground favorites like Detroit’s Black Milk and La Coka Nostra’s Ill Bill– while also featuring lyricists like Curt@!n$, Willie The Kid, Termanology, Maffew Ragazino Sr., Ro Spit — and more– all featured over Statik Selektah production.

Coachella just announced the line up for this year’s festival, lots of heavy hitters. Headliners Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire and Kanye West will be joined by the Black Keys, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Wiz Khalifa and many more. The dates are Friday April 15th-Sunday April 17th. Last night Lil B blessed his loyal followers with a live performance at Highline Ballroom in NYC. As much hype as he had this show was still going to be my first introduction to the BasedGod so I entered with no expectations. When he finally hits the stage my man has on the smallest shirt I’ve ever seen a regular size dude wear that wasn’t, you know, playing for the same team. “Swag” is what he calls it, “being honest” was the theme for the evening. Kids, guys and girls, were doing all the could to have some of his Swag rub off on them. At one point (we have video we’ll show), he passes the mic around to those lucky enough to be in the front to let them “thank the BasedGod.” They telling Lil B he could fuck their girlfriends, mother’s and even, get this, their daughter, it was interesting to watch to say the least.

For now, check out his entrance on to the stage and “Ellen Degeneres” live. She needs to have him on her show, that would be great.
