We recently had the opportunity to sit down with Swizz Beatz at his Jungle Studios base in NYC. He gives us some insight on his partnership with Reebok, his role with the company and what’s on the horizon. Even sneaks in a little bit on his upcoming Haute Living album. Swizz has been one of the most successful producers for more than a decade, can he translate that over to the sneaker game?
Legendary artist, and our good friend, ERIC HAZE just hooked up a 40′ mural outside the Standard LA downtown. “With all the painting and installations going on around downtown LA last month, I was psyched to have a mural project of my own lined up in the neighborhood too,” gleams Eric.

On Friday April 8th, G-Shock & Krink celebrated their recent partnership with a unique exhibition of Craig Costello’s work “Spray Paint the Walls” Check out this video they put together below.

The signature Krink G-Shock watch, the DW6900KR-8, was on display alongside Costello’s artwork, an abstraction inspired by his history of working with urban environments and architecture. Costello sprayed gallons of paint onto the walls filling the white space with bold color from the ceiling to the floor, the diluted-paint dripping down in vertical lines forming a pattern. The color and shapes have an organic feel that contrast with the hard lines and shapes of the urban environment. Other walls featured small framed monochrome drawings created using Krink on paper and displayed a vibrant range of color.
If you’re in NYC on May 12th, Mobb Deep will be performing at the Best Buy Theater. Also on the bill are Ghostface & Raekwon and Money Making Jam Boys, plus, DJ Stretch Armstrong on the 1’s & 2’s.
Looking forward to this show, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen the M-O-B-B perform live. A little history for y’all, I was their road manager during The Infamous album back in ‘95. Will be good to see my Dun’s again, be on some real ’90s Hip-Hop.
After doing some Spring cleaning, I found this box that was delivered over a week ago. I popped it open and found these Sebago’s from the homie Ronnie Fieg’s Spring/Summer collection. My man has been killing the game but usually through a single shop, David Z, until this collection which will be available at select shops nationwide, kudos to that. For this release I am launching an E-Commerce section to my website. I’ve been working with my good friend Andy Oliver for months creating a web page which will emphasize the details of my collection. Ever since I got started in this business this was a long term goal that is finally coming into fruition, I hope you guys enjoy it!
