Vans has begun the second year of its “Custom Culture Program” initiative where high school students across the United States highlight their creativity by customizing sneakers. This year’s top prize is $50,000 and the top five teams will be flown to New York to display their sneakers within a yet to be named museum.

New York Mural and Limited Edition Print

Dave White’s latest print release, requested by demand, is a small edition of 50 giclees, 10 of which will feature specifically hand finished detail with impasto paint. Dave was also recently commissioned by AOL to create a unique mural in their flagship New York offices, both shown in the pictures below.
