Adidas Originals has broken the barriers to the limitation of an iconic shoe. No longer does a sneaker fit the niche of comfort and style, but now it is the key to a whole new virtual world. The Adidas Originals Augmented Reality Pack is an exclusive collection of the 5 Adidas Originals Sneakers; The Superstar, Nizza, Stan Smith, Samba and Forum, that are the gateway to the Adidas virtual Neighborhood. By placing the tongue of the sneakers to a video web cam, the code automatically becomes the linking bridge to an 3D alternate reality .

The Adidas Neighborhood is a 3D game emulating real life streets of where Adidas original designs commenced from. Adidas will be releasing three AR Game pack experiences, where one is able to win prizes and “trophies” worldwide. The Adidas Originals Star Wars™ collection is the first AR experience that will be feautured this February 9th on the game, and is also making its retail debut for the Spring/Summer 2010 season. After completing each game, participants will be able to download AR-generated “trophies” and become eligible to win larger prizes.
