[SNEAKERS] Missoni for Converse Chuck Taylor

Don’t call it a comeback! Converse and Missoni are teaming up for a third collaboration in two years with a new set of Converse Chuck Taylor All Star shoes for both men and women. These sneakers smack you in the eyes with their bright space-dyed knits with horizontal striped patterns. This is a great sneaker to brush away the winter and welcome the warmer spring weather with. These Chuck Taylors will be available in limited quantities in March at Missoni boutiques and select retailers worldwide with a $200 price point.

Converse + CDG PLAY

These Converse + CDG PLAY Chucks just came in the mail yesterday. Yeah, they’ve been out for a sec but just had to do a closer look. Based on the original Chuck Taylor silhouette from the 1950’s, the shoe bearing the co-brand of Comme Des Garcons PLAY’s heart. So simple and clean yet the subtle detail is right on point. Converse Fall 2009 Premium Footwear

The Premium collection of Converse launches for the Fall of 2009. Various styles and designs are intertwined within the collaboration of Converse and Woolrich. The other styled Converse includes, the first Converse RED Jack Purcell shoes, a version of Converse by John Varvatos Taylor All Star Bosey boots and lastly, the debut of the All Star Outside rubber boots.  Each model will be available in several different colors, not all shown below.  Check out the Converse webpage to get a better look at the other color options for the sneakers.  (more…)
