The Branson B Project

Prohibit NYC is dedicated to representing the ideal of Resistance Movement Against All Authority.  This ideal manifests itself in many different ways, but most of the movements that are against resistance start in the street.  In an effort to put these movements in proper context, we have started the Prohibit NYC : NY Originals series.  The Prohibit NYC : NY Originals series will document the resistance movements and people that have helped shape the cultural landscape of one of the worlds greatest cities. Our first subject in this series is a man who’s identity has been popular yet mysterious, Branson B.

We produced a t-shirt and mini-doc Directed by Creative Control that gives some background about the NY street legend.   If you know , you know.  If you don’t know, get educated.
Check out the mini-doc and more information about the project at: http://bransonbproject.com/

His everyman, stoner flow has turned into the organic accumulation of a rabid fan base, and that flow is evident here as Wiz stops by DD172 to record the song “Sweat Box” with Philadelphia based electronic band The Disco Biscuits.
