DC x SE Racing Quad Angle and PK Ripper Fixed Gear

DC and SE Racing have collaborated for a fourth time, this time to release an updated version of the Quadangle and PK Ripper Fixed Gear.

The Quadangle, SE Racing’s classic frame, has been revamped into a 26-inch cruiser. This is the first time that a large size frame has been featured on this bike. The new model is being featured in a bright fluorescent yellow that will be hard to miss on the streets.

The updated PK Ripper Fixed Gear is a blend of an old school BMX and the modern fixed gear. Details from the classic PK Ripper BMX that have been incorporated in this new release include floval tubing, a landing gear fork and a loop tail rear end. The bike really pops with a bright fluorescent orange colorway.

Both bikes are available starting today, April 1, 2010 at select retailers. Truly collector’s items, these bikes are extremely limited as only 300 of each were produced. For more information and specifications on both bikes visit SE Racing’s website.

Video: DC Shoes and Subaru present the TRAX STI

On the heels of Ken Block’s insane Gymkhana videos the DC Shoes Co-Founder and Rally Team Driver has joined with Subaru to make the world’s fastest cat track automobile for backcountry access for snowboarding Dubbed the TRAX STI.

The TRAX STI is an experimental automobile that starts with Block’s competition-ready Subaru WRX STI before ditching the tires, adding snow cat tracks, and upgrading to some next-level suspension to create the ultimate backcountry shred car. Prepared by Vermont SportsCar, performance modifications include 400-hp and features Group N competition rally dampers made by EXE-TC and a KAPS 5-speed close-ratio dog-engagement gearbox.  Under the hood sits a 2.5 liter, 4-cylinder, turbocharged and intercooled STI engine tuned with a MOTEC M800 ECU.

Completing the TRAX STI is a sleigh to be pulled behind the car, designed to hold four snowboarders, their snowboards, and all their gear. The sleigh’s body is 100 percent custom designed and constructed of hand-laid fiberglass—though the sleigh is not seen in this teaser video, look for it in future videos next year. Altogether, this is one car ready for backcountry access and snowboarding.
