We closed out our Model x LTD+ summer series at the Rivington Hotel Rooftop with the homeys On Smash and Prohibit for “Fall Back” event. DJ Soul and Plain Pat held down the turntables while Hof, Chace Infinite, and Hawaii Mike tore the roof off with the rest of our evening’s patrons. Many thanks to everyone that came out to support all of our events this summer. Make sure to keep your eyes and ears alert for what we have in store for the Fall and Winter.

In the midst of the disaster that occurred on March 11th, Japan is in need of all the support it can get. “A Dance for Japan”, NYC edition, has teamed up with a plethora of DJs in order to raise funds and awareness to aid Japan. There will also be prizes raffled off throughout the course of the night from the likes of Brooklyn Bodega to Mishka. The $10 donation at the door earns you a raffle ticket and the proceeds will be going to The Japan Society for earthquake and tsunami relief.
A collaboration between our friends DJ Soul, Rap Radar and Mighty Healthy (on the design tip), “No Idea’s Original” features 70+ minutes of samples and originals used in your favorite songs of ‘09. How Soul managed to crank this out while DJing/promoting/hosting some of the best parties in NYC and beyond, is a mystery.
Thirty Two had an event to premiere the new outerwear collection at the etnies showroom in NYC last night. We documented the festivities using the new Casio Exilim 5.1 Megapixel camera phone. It was a hot night but the set up was chill, there was beer provided by Brooklyn Brewery, ping pong on the roof, DJ Soul on the 1’s & 2’s and a good crowd. It was a good time minus a little scuffle. Check the pics, all shot with the camera phone.
