We’re back for another one! We’ve heard “It’s best party I’ve been to in NYC,” “You don’t want to miss this one” and even “I’m not leaving for the Holiday until the FG x LTD party goes down.” Let’s just say it’s great time, great music and lots of dancing, and guess what, you’re invited! We have a bigger venue and we’re just in time for the Christmas break, so forget all of troubles and come let loose for a night.
Tuesday, December 20th.
The Gallery
Dream Downtown
355 W. 16th St, NYC
The night will feature DJ sets from Texas’ own OG Ron C, The Brothers Macklovitch (A-Trak & Dave1), Just Blaze and Nick Catchdubs; hosts with the most Danny Brown and ASAP Ferg will serve as masters of ceremonies all evening. Our friends at Scion, Bushmills and Modelo will be providing giveaways and complimentary refreshments… you don’t wanna miss out.
Proud to say we work with Fool’s Gold, they really know and understand their consumer so everything we do is on point! The 2nd annual Day Off event on Labor Day was no exception. A huge crowd gathered at City Winery in NYC to check an incredible DJ line up featuring Nick Catchdubs, Brothers Macklovitch and Just Blaze. The audience was also entertained with performances by Party Supplies, Cubic Zirconia, araabMUZIK, Danny Brown and Juicy J (Trippy Mane!). I was lucky enough to have all access, c’mon you know how I do, so check out the event from my perspective.
Finally, it’s here. After months of hard work, alot of hours in the studio and on the road, Donnis brings us his best work to date “Southern Lights” presented by Karmaloop & mixed down by Fools Golds own Nick Catchdubs
The free album is 14 all original songs, with production Needlz, Syience, The Cataracs and more. The project also contains features from the legendary Big Rube, Young Dro, Dev & more.
Mannie got on stage a little before 1am and the energy quickly started to rise. Drake being in the building definitely added to that and heat went all the way up in the jam packed venue. Don’t be the one outside next year!
Last Friday, December 17th, LTD Magazine and Fool’s Gold teamed for our 2nd annual Holiday Party in NYC at new spot Tammany Hall in the LES. This has to be one of the best times I’ve had in a long time, the DJ’s and music was great and had the crowd (those lucky enough to get in as the line was around the block) going HAM all night long. Manni Fresh went in on his classic material and Just Blaze, well, he did his thing as always. We had a special appearance by the Canadian homie Drake who made sure the partygoers stayed hype. Thanks to Bushmills (photo booth), Scion and Tammany Hall for hooking us up. See you next year!
We’ll be posting some more pics and hopefully videos so stay tuned but for now enjoy this photo set by Brook Bobbins.
Duck Sauce “Barbara Streisand” #1 on UK Billboard Charts
After setting youtube on fire (to the tune of 1 Million views in a month), Fool’s Gold group, Duck Sauce has claimed the Billboard top spot in UK with their smash hit “Barbara Streisand”. Not bad considering the song has absolutely nothing to do with Babs. Check out the video and all of its cameo laden glory.

Princess Hijab: Artist.Politico.Criminal
Controversial Parisian street artist, “Princess Hijab” is making waves with his/her “alterations” of Paris High Fashion advertisements. In Paris it is illegal (for even Muslim women) to wear a niqab or veil. Princess Hijab has embarked on making a comment about this law through illegal art. Badass. Take a closer look at a few of Hijab’s pieces.

Parra x Defrag
We all know Parra for the great projects he’s done with brands like Nike, Arktip, Incase, Vans etc… so it’s always good when we can get a more in depth view of the creative process behind the product. Japanese based lifestyle magazine, Defrag posted a great interview with Parra himself. Check it out. Defrag x Parra.
Gucci + Jay-Z’s Decoded
As Jay-Z’s book release draws nearer, we’re seeing pages pop up in the most unlikely places. Add Gucci’s flagship store in NYC to that list. Recently, images were unveiled of pages from Decoded, lining the interior of a Gucci leather jacket. This was made specifically for the Gucci window (no retail) and once the window display is done, the fashion house will be gifting the jacket to Jay. via HighSnobiety.
For the the final day of Summer, Fool’s Gold, along with Jelly, The Fader, City Winery and tours truly, LTD+, put on “Day Off”, a free (yes, FREE) all ages get together to celebrate Labor Day. DJs Just Blaze, Max Glazer, and The Brothers Macklovitch turned it up this December 19th, at the LTD x Fool’s Gold Holiday Party.
