After doing some Spring cleaning, I found this box that was delivered over a week ago. I popped it open and found these Sebago’s from the homie Ronnie Fieg’s Spring/Summer collection. My man has been killing the game but usually through a single shop, David Z, until this collection which will be available at select shops nationwide, kudos to that. See below for info or you can check out the Ronnie Fieg by Sebago site: HERE. Can’t wait to rock these when the weather gets better.
From Ronnie:
Each shoe in the collection is limited to 300 pairs and will be offered at top-shelf retailers across the country. A few of the shops carrying the line for in store purchase will be Shoe Gallery (Miami), Ubiq (Philly), Conveyor at Fred Segal (Los Angeles), select Saks 5th Ave locations, select Bloomingdale locations, Akira (Chicago), West (Upper West side Nyc), and David Z.(Soho Nyc).
For this release I am launching an E-Commerce section to my website. I’ve been working with my good friend Andy Oliver for months creating a web page which will emphasize the details of my collection. Ever since I got started in this business this was a long term goal that is finally coming into fruition, I hope you guys enjoy it!
A very special thanks to Sean Munro for shooting with me every other weekend for the past year, Gary Malamet and Tom Siano for believing in me since day one and making me part of the Sebago family, Natalie Tassell for getting things done for me, and Andy Oliver for helping me bring my vision to life with the new site. I couldn’t do it without you guys, thank you!
When the Wall Street Journal does an article on you it’s a big deal. When you’re a self-made hip-hop mogul without a High School Diploma let alone any type of degree, it’s MAJOR. Hats off to Mr. Carter. Read the article at WSJ.

Death To Hipsters?
An interesting article from New York Magazine attempting to define a subculture as if it were a rare species of bird on the brink of extinction. The article is so ironic and self-deprecating that you might pull out the vintage flannel and PBR, be careful.

Anti-Social
In a recent study by Mashable social media networks are actually making people more social (insert gasp). This may come as a shock to those of you who are quick to blame social media for the decline in face-to-face interaction in today’s society. Did it ever occur to you that maybe people just don’t want to talk to YOU because all you do is complain about social networking technology? Just a thought, not trying to make anyone self-conscious or anti-social of course.
