The second delivery of 10.DEEP Spring 2010 collection lookbook is now up and live. This second dose is a departure from Delivery 1’s hero/criminals and is now going in the direction of “the moneyed, internationally known and semi-upstanding luminaries of the status quo as a backdrop.” Along with the usual suspects of the typical cast of extended family over at 10.Deep the collection, once again, features up-and-comers CurT@!n$ and Stalley. Delivery 2 will be hitting stores next week and online over at 10.Deep.

The collection consists of, button-down woven shirts in both long and short sleeve options anchor the collection, and Chambray and camo-highlighted sateen convertible shorts follow things up. Batting clean-up are a new spread of head gear-from Oxford New Eras to their classic 5 Panels, redone up in Oxford Stripes, Tonal Ginghams and trapped panel screenprinting.

The politically minded clothing brand, Carrot Clothing, and the Japanese/American brand, X-LARGE, have come together to do a collabo tee with the heavy statement of ‘F**K WAR’ in accordance with the “10 years since we’ve gone to war, than in prison as political prisoners and finally set free..” On the tee is a graphic of X-Large’s mascot ape beast literally delivering some boneage to the letters WAR dressed in a wig and high heels grasping a wad of cash in it’s lipsticked mouth. How’s that for a metaphor? The tee is available now at Digital Gravel and at the online store over at Carrot Clothing.

The folks at Stussy hook it up once again with a first sneak peek of the collaboration between Stussy Deluxe and Reyn Spooner, that will be dropping this month. For their Summer ‘10 line Stussy teamed up with Hawaii- based Reyn Spooner. Having a collabo with a company that has taken the traditional Hawaiian shirt to the heights and level of casual American classic goes in line with Stussy’s move toward American West Coast authentics.

The Stussy X Reyn Spooner capsule collection features an iconic Reyn Spooner print modified with Stussy’s iconic handscript across sixteen pieces including shirts, walking shorts, swimwear, windbreakers and a range of accessories including bags by Japan-based Porter and a slip-on, cork foot bed sandal by Japan-based brand Tatami. All feature Reyn-Spooner’s classic inside-out construction.

Also be sure to check for Stussy commissioned legendary book creator and art director Tom Adler to oversee a photo shoot for the project that captures the essence of a Golden Age in California. The collection will be available at Stussy Chapter Stores and online.

Coming out with fresh new tees for the summer are the homies from the bay area, skate crew FTC are getting ready to release their Summer ‘10 t-shirt jumpoffs. The line also includes a few dope photo shirts by photographers Mark Whiteley and Joe Brooks.

More and more Spring 10′ collections are surfacing as the year goes on. The folks at Warriors of Radness are gearing up for their kick off of their own Spring 10′ line. WOR’s launch party will feature a collaborative exhibition with vintage prints of selected images and 16mm snapshots by vetern Surf photgrapher and flimmaker Grant Rohloff. Also in the exhibition is a screening of the upcoming surf film Scattered Archives by Kyle MacLennan, and a live performance by Gantez Warrior. As the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa approaches sportswear giant PUMA is getting ready to release inspired looks from the host continent of the Cup. Teaming up with one of the world’s most sought-after urban artists, Kehinde Wiley, the collaboration has produced a collection of apparel, footwear and accessories featuring the signature bright, bold, African-inspired patterns Wiley is known for. Along with the collection Wiley has created three portraits of soccer stars Samuel Eto’o of Cameroon, John Mensah of Ghana and Emmanuel Eboué of Ivory Coast wearing their national team kits stemming from PUMA’s three of their twelve sponsored African soccer teams going to the World Cup.

Freshjive is at it again, their anticipated spring 10′ collection has been released. The company, who has become known as one of the originators in streetwear culture is now venturing into a non-branded approach in their fashion.
