CLOT and Stussy are here to help you celebrate both the Chinese and Western New Year together with their new Firecracker t-shirt. The tee comes in three color variations, white, black, and gray. Stussy has teamed up with Timberland for a special Fall/Winter 2010 release. The sillhoute composes of a 4-Eye Chukka, a combination of a classic work boot and casual chukka designed for comfort and style. Take a glimpse of the images for an in-depth look at the boots for this fall.

The folks at Stussy hook it up once again with a first sneak peek of the collaboration between Stussy Deluxe and Reyn Spooner, that will be dropping this month. For their Summer ‘10 line Stussy teamed up with Hawaii- based Reyn Spooner. Having a collabo with a company that has taken the traditional Hawaiian shirt to the heights and level of casual American classic goes in line with Stussy’s move toward American West Coast authentics.

The Stussy X Reyn Spooner capsule collection features an iconic Reyn Spooner print modified with Stussy’s iconic handscript across sixteen pieces including shirts, walking shorts, swimwear, windbreakers and a range of accessories including bags by Japan-based Porter and a slip-on, cork foot bed sandal by Japan-based brand Tatami. All feature Reyn-Spooner’s classic inside-out construction.

Also be sure to check for Stussy commissioned legendary book creator and art director Tom Adler to oversee a photo shoot for the project that captures the essence of a Golden Age in California. The collection will be available at Stussy Chapter Stores and online.

Stussy has recently released their latest backpack design, dubbed the Fresh Gear Backpack. The bag is essentially an updated version of the traditional backpack style we all know and love, with touches of the Stussy’s signature aesthetic. The bag features two large rectangular compartments on either side of the bag with a small pouch located on the front. Above the pouch is a multi-purpose strap that is perfect for hauling around whatever extras you may have with you while the main compartment offers a large, padded storage space. Also, being constructed from 1000 Denier Cordura fabric, the bag is amazingly tough with excellent abrasion resistance and tear strength. Available now in either black or grey.

Stussy and Stones Throw just dropped part one of a three part documentary about Dilla’s Life in Los Angeles. On Saturday Febuary 13th, 2010, to celebrate the life of brilliant hip hop producer and rapper James “J Dilla” Yancey, Stussy is releasing a limited edition tee shirt produced in conjunction with Stones Throw and the Dilla Estate that features Raph Rashid’s classic photo of J Dilla working on his MPC3000 from his book Behind The Beat. For the release, Stussy is holding “Dilla Day” events at some of our North American stores. www.stussy.com for more details.

Haze knocks out another banger, this time a new installation for Stussy Shinjuku chapter store to support the worldwide release of his Haze x Stussy S/S 2010 collection. Next up, Los Angeles.

I just returned from Tokyo, where my right hand Carl and I completed a 60’ mural and facade painting installation at the Stussy Shinjuku chapter store. This project was part of my ongoing support for the worldwide release of the new Haze x Stussy S/S 2010 capsule collection, which is already out in Japan, and drops here in the states and Europe next month…

all in all, it was a great week working together with the Stussy team in Tokyo, painting inside the store every day, then finishing up the facade on a crane the last night before the opening event… the level of support and enthusiasm we received from everyone during the whole process was tremendous, so many thanks and much love to Michi, Shin, Sei, Brian, and everyone at Stussy JP who was part of making this project all that it could be.

and keeping it moving, next, we head out to Los Angeles to support Stussy again in a few weeks,
where we will be launching the capsule’s US release with a full scale exhibition of all the original framed artwork used in developing the collection, as well as some installations and product displays, which will also include the upcoming Haze x Stussy x Pro Keds model sneaker.

This show and event will also be the first exhibition held in the ( amazing ) new Known Gallery space on Fairfax, opening on February 26th, which is being developed and run by my old friend Casey / Eklips ( who is the driving force behind the 7th Letter Crew and more ) so I’m psyched to be able to work and build again with some of my old and favorite west coast peeps as part of this project too.

You ask what the Desert Boot collection is and the answer is it’s the collaboration that international superstars Dr. Martens and Stussy Deluxe have come together to create. The collabo is designed to attract those of both classic and casual footwear. Each pair of shoes come with complimentary color laces and will be available in stores this August. The Desert Boot Collection will be at Stussy stores worldwide and non-Stussy stores not only in the US but also globally. It will also be in Dr.Martens owned retail stores.
