I was recently introduced to Kickstarter while at the genius bar. I was immediately drawn to the TikTok and LunaTik multi-touch watch kits for the iPod Nano 6th generation. I made a pledge and became an investor within 15-minutes. This project has been the biggest fundraiser in Kickstarter’s short history when they raised $941,718 a mere $926,718 more than what they needed to fund the project. It is the brainchild of Scott Wilson, the former Global Creative Director for Nike Watches.

After a few weeks of waiting the box finally arrived. The bands are really well made and very thought out. The TikTok is a simple snap in but the LunaTik is the one that really makes this project dope. It features the same silicone strap but the encasing, made of forged and machined aircraft grade aluminum, really sets it apart and gives it a high end feel and protective setting at the same time.
