Beaterator Sessions: VMA Montage

During VMA weekend Rockstar Games held a suite to showcase their new beaterator game. A select group of artists, musicians, producers, and performers received an exclusive opportunity to go hands-on with the game before its September 29th launch on the PSP. Rapper/actor Ice-T, producer Chris Robinson, DJ Clinton Sparks, Serani and a handful of others discuss the power, ease-of-use, and creative possibilities Beaterator brings to the table as one of the most original and exciting entries in the PSP lineup this fall.

This clip features live-action footage of Timbaland discussing his collaboration with Rockstar Games, what Beaterator is and how you can get the most out of the application and brief samplings of a few of the myriad beats and songs you can create with this truly unique and powerful music-making tool. Beaterator will be on the PSP and hits shelves Septemeber 29th.

Beaterator, presented Rockstar Games and Timbaland

Rockstar Games has joined forces with super producer Timbaland to bring you Beaterator. Initially created in 2005 as a Flash application on the Rockstar website, Beaterator quickly took on a life of its own. Featuring thousands of loops and sounds made by both Timbaland and Rockstar, Beaterator puts the power to make professional-level music at your fingertips in a format that’s portable, accessible and fun – anyone can now create great-sounding music. We’ve already had our demo, and trust, you will be hooked! Beaterator is available for the PSP and PlayStation Network and will drop September 29th in North America and October 2nd in Europe.
